Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups Ritz crackers, crushed (Substitute with French Fried Onions)
  • 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 12oz or 1 package egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small pot to cook the noodles.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Mix together pasta, chicken, soup and sour cream in a large bowl.
  4. Add in Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
  5. In another bowl, mix together poppy seeds and melted butter, stir until butter is completely incorporated.
  6. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Spread chicken and pasta mixture on the bottom and top with crushed crackers (French Fried Onions).
  8. Cover pan with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes.

Notes

  • Best served with egg noddles
