Honey Walnut Shrimp

Ingredients

Candied Walnuts

  • ⅔ Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup water
  • ½ cup walnuts

Shrimp & Batter

  • 4 Egg whites
  • ⅔ Cup cornstarch
  • Shrimp (probably like 1 lbs±)

Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • ¼ Cup mayo
  • 1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oil to fry battered shrimp.
  2. Mix sugar, water, walnuts together and cook for 2-3 minutes to candy the walnuts.
  3. Ensure shrimp are completely dry, mix the batter ingredients and dip shrimp in batter.
  4. Cook shrimp.
  5. Toss shrimp in sauce and sprinkle walnuts on top.
