Toffee Pudding "Cidecar"

Ingredients

  • Demerara sugar, for the rim
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice plus 1 lemon wedge, for the rim
  • 1 ounce cognac
  • 1 ounce hazelnut liqueur, such as Frangelico
  • 1 ounce apple cider

Directions

  1. Put some demerara sugar on a small plate. Rub the lemon wedge on the rim of a cocktail glass and dip the rim in the demerara sugar.
  2. Put the cognac, hazelnut liqueur, apple cider and lemon juice in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into the sugar-rimmed glass.
