Ingredients
- 1/4-inch-thick slice lime
- 2 large fresh sage leaves
- 2 slices pickled jalapefio
- 1/4 ounce agave or simple syrup
- 3 ounces tequila blanco
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- Dash Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
Directions
In a cocktail shaker, aggressively muddle the lime, 1 sage leaf, the jalapeno slices, and agave. Leave the muddler in the shaker, then add the tequila and pineapple juice. Swish the muddler to rinse it, then remove. Add the bitters. Shake with ice cubes. Strain into a coupe. Float the remaining sage leaf on top.
